Objective

To regulate, coordinate and promote the real estate sector so as to ensure stable and transparent real estate market, protect interests of players and enhance government revenue.

Activities

1. Advise on matters relating /pertaining to real estate sector;
2. Develop and enforce implementation of Policies, Laws, Regulations and Guidelines that ensure proper management and promotion of the Real Estate
3. Sector as well as management of Real Estate Professionals;
4. Monitor and evaluate real estate actors activities including landlords, tenants, property developers, consumers, real estate agents and financial institutions; (iv) Create public awareness and imparting knowledge on real estate sector to stakeholders;
5. Establish mechanism to ensure transparency and equal access to real estate business and services;
6. Establish and maintain of all Real Estate Sector actors and real estate projects in the Country;
7. Conduct research and sharing of research findings that will benefit the real estate sector and the economy;
8. Collect, process, maintain data and disseminate such real estate information; (ix) Promote acquisition of new technologies for the development of real estate sector;
9. Promote real estate investment;
10. Set standard procedures for undertaking real estate activities that address the sector's development process including feasibility, pre-construction, construction, property and asset management, marketing, financing and conveyancing; and
11. Liase and maintain Regional and International Cooperation for the development of real estate sector.
