Objective

To transform Ministry of Lands manual business process through provision of credible ICT services and ensure effective archiving, management and dissemination of information in the Land sector for efficient and informed decisionmaking.

Functions

1. To design and maintain ICT infrastructure and systems;
2. To provide technical advice and support on ICT and data management;
3. To analyze e-services and facilitate the use of e-Government in MLHHSD;
4. To coordinate data management issues at MLHHSD offices;
5. To develop Corporate wide ICT Strategy and its implementation plan;
6. To develop ICT Enterprise, Application, Network/Technology and Security Architecture;
7. To provide ICT support to all users and prepare ICT user manuals and monitor their implementation;
8. To design ICT trainings and build capacity of all ICT staff at all Levels; and
9. To carry out troubleshooting for ICT systems (application and infrastructure) and provide solutions.
